SEASHELLS

Seashells is a project exploring tongue twisters and languages. In the short film I perform 8 tongue twisters in 8 different languages (from Arabic to Urdu) taught to me by community participants with English as a second language. Each tongue twister has its own unique costume designed by Alison Brown, made in collaboration with community participants and inspired by the imagery of the tongue twisters.


Seashells is funded by Creative Scotland Open fund and the City of Edinburgh Council Culture Service Project Fund in partnership with the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Supported by Magnetic North.
